Terms & Conditions of Booking
By booking a session with me, you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Booking & Deposits
Home Studio Sessions: Bookings at my home studio are currently made on a trust basis and do not require an upfront deposit. If this trust is abused (e.g., no-shows or late cancellations), future booking requests will be refused.
External Studio Sessions: For sessions utilising external partner studios, a deposit is required to secure your slot. This deposit is strictly non-refundable, as it covers the non-refundable booking fees of the external venue.
Cancellations & Rescheduling: I require a minimum of 48 hours’ notice to reschedule or cancel any session.
Right to Refuse Service: I reserve the right to refuse service or future bookings if a client has previously failed to attend, cancelled without notice, or exhibited abusive or unprofessional behaviour.
2. Payment & Delivery
Final Payment: The remaining balance must be paid in full at the end of your session via Cash or Bank Transfer.
Withholding of Media: No images (including watermarked proofs) or video footage will be released until the full balance is cleared.
Unsettled Balances: If a balance is not settled and no agreement is reached, all media from the session will be destroyed and future service will be refused.
RAW Files: Unedited or RAW files are not provided. You are paying for a finished, professional product.
3. Usage & Copyright
Copyright: I retain full copyright of all images and video footage. You are granted usage rights.
Usage License: You are granted full usage rights for personal and professional promotion (Spotlight, Casting Networks, Social Media, Agent sites). You are prohibited from reselling these images or footage to third parties without additional license.
Promotional Rights: We reserve the right to use images and footage for our own promotional materials and advertisements. For images of subjects under the age of 18, permission will be sought beforehand.
Opt-Out: You may opt out of future promotional campaigns at any time and have your images removed from the website. This does not apply to paid advertisement campaigns already in circulation, however images will be removed at their conclusion.
4. Conduct & Liability
Equipment Damage: Any criminal or accidental damage to studio equipment or premises caused by the client will either be reported to the police or the client will be held liable for the full cost of repair or replacement.
Personal Property: We are not liable for any loss or damage to your personal belongings during a session.
5. Archiving
Final edited files are archived for 2 months. It is the client’s responsibility to download and backup their files immediately upon delivery.
